1. Introduction

Welcome to Lipi Wordgames, a word puzzle app built for players who enjoy building, guessing and solving words. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Lipi Wordgames mobile application ("App"), our website, and any associated services or features provided by Lipi Inc ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you ("you" or "the user") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

Lipi Wordgames is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13.

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country) to create an account or make a purchase.
  • If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You confirm that you are not barred from using the App under the laws of your country of residence.

3. User Accounts

Some features — such as saving progress across devices, leaderboards and purchases — require you to create an account. When you create an account:

  • You agree to provide accurate and current information, and to keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us at support@lipi.game if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.

You may choose a display name that is visible to other players. Display names that are offensive, impersonate another person, or infringe someone's rights may be changed or removed.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the App only for:

  • Personal, non-commercial entertainment
  • Lawful activities that comply with applicable laws and these Terms

You must not:

  • Use cheats, bots, automation, modified clients, or any tool that gives an unfair advantage or manipulates scores, streaks or leaderboards
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, word lists, or puzzle data of the App
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other players or our support team
  • Upload malicious code, attempt to disrupt our servers, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
  • Use the App in a way that infringes intellectual property or other rights

We may reset scores, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe have breached this section.

5. Advertising

The App is supported in part by advertising and displays ads served through Google AdMob.

  • Ads may appear between levels, as rewarded videos, or as banners within the App.
  • Rewarded ads are always optional — you choose whether to watch one in exchange for hints or in-game rewards.
  • You can control ad personalisation through your device settings and through Google Ad Settings.
  • We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for any products or services they promote.

Where an ad-free option is offered as a paid feature, it removes ads served by us but does not alter any other part of these Terms.

6. In-App Purchases and Virtual Items

The App may offer paid features and virtual items such as hints, coins, boosters, or additional puzzle packs.

  • All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your card details.
  • Virtual items are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them within the App. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred outside the App.
  • Unused virtual items are forfeited if your account is terminated for a breach of these Terms, or when the App is discontinued.
  • We may change the price, availability, or in-game value of items at any time. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already completed.

7. Subscriptions

The App may offer auto-renewable subscription plans (such as monthly and yearly) that provide access to premium features — for example additional puzzle packs, unlimited hints, and an ad-free experience.

8. Billing and Auto-Renewal

  • Apple App Store (iOS/iPadOS): Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Renewal charges are applied within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Google Play Store (Android): Subscriptions are billed through your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Renewal charges are applied to your Google Play account at the start of the next billing period.

9. Managing Subscriptions and Refunds

  • iOS users can manage and cancel subscriptions in their Apple ID account settings.
  • Android users can manage and cancel subscriptions in their Google Play account settings.
  • We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Purchases and subscriptions are final and non-refundable except where required by law or by the refund policy of the app store you purchased through. Refund requests must be raised with Apple or Google directly.

10. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including puzzles, word lists, games, graphics, sounds, animations, text, and code — is the exclusive property of Lipi Inc or its licensors, and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App or its content
  • Use the Lipi Wordgames name, brand, logo, or assets without our written permission

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely as permitted by these Terms.

11. Privacy and Data Collection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data. In summary:

  • We collect account information, gameplay and progress data, and device information
  • We use analytics tools to understand how the App is used and to improve it
  • We serve ads through Google AdMob, which uses advertising identifiers
  • We do not sell your personal data

By using the App, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

12. Progress, Streaks and Leaderboards

The App tracks gameplay activity such as puzzles completed, scores, streaks and achievements in order to:

  • Save and sync your progress across your devices
  • Show rankings, streaks and achievements
  • Improve difficulty balancing and the overall experience

If you take part in leaderboards, your chosen display name and score are visible to other players. You can opt out of leaderboards in the App's settings.

13. Service Availability and Updates

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, puzzles, or the App itself at any time. We may also release updates that you need to install in order to continue using the App. We aim to give reasonable notice of any material change that removes a paid feature you are actively using.

14. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time from within the Lipi Wordgames app, or by writing to support@lipi.game.

  • Accounts marked for deletion will remain in a deactivated state for 90 days.
  • If you log in during this period, the deletion request will be cancelled and your account will be restored.
  • After the 90-day grace period, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of purchases or unused subscription time, and any virtual items are forfeited.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the App:

  • For violation of these Terms, including cheating or abusive behaviour
  • If required by law or court order
  • In case of fraudulent, harmful, or chargeback-related activity

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and, if you wish, deleting your account as described above.

16. Disclaimer

Lipi Wordgames is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. While we work to deliver a high-quality experience, we do not guarantee:

  • That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects
  • That puzzles, word lists, or translations are free of errors or omissions
  • That progress, scores, or streaks will always be preserved

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the App
  • Loss of progress or data, device failure, or unauthorized access to your account
  • The content or conduct of third-party advertisers, app stores, or other players

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

18. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be:

  • Communicated via in-app notification or email, where available
  • Reflected in the "Last update" date at the top of this page

Continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Disputes may be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, India.
